In Loving Memory of Kevin Natale
One bullet changed everything. Forgiveness changed it again.
We support a nonprofit built from heartbreak and rebuilt on hope. Through Kevin Natale’s story, we stand with families touched by tragedy, walk alongside those in recovery, and carry forward a message no one should have to hear alone.

Kevin's Story
One day, one moment, twenty-eight years of becoming.
On January 12, 1994, at the age of fourteen, Kevin was shot in his own home by a neighbor named Brian Adams. The bullet struck in his neck and left him a quadriplegic. He was a 8th grade athlete, a Joe Montana fan, a kid with a basketball practice scheduled for that evening. By the end of that day, his life and our family’s life would never look the same again.
What followed was nearly three decades of pain, recovery, struggle, faith, and ultimately, transformation. Kevin walked through addiction and back out of it. He found God. He wrote letters to the man who shot him. He visited Brian face-to-face in prison and offered forgiveness. He inspired others to do the same. Out of his story, the nonprofit Founded on Forgiveness was born.
The real highlight of Kevin’s life is the impact he made for God’s glory and kingdom.

A Life of Faith, Strength & Forgiveness.
The video is a glimpse of who Kevin was. A man of faith, family, and unshakable spirit. A quadriplegic, a published children’s author, a basketball announcer, a public voice for forgiveness. A son. A brother. A Chiefs fan to the very end.
Every gift becomes someone's second chance.
Donations to Founded on Forgiveness directly fund the Recovery Homes, family support for those touched by tragedy, and the outreach that keeps Kevin’s story reaching the people who need it most.
